Big Decisions:  Small Business

One of the biggest impediments for small business is the ability of the Founder to make decisions.

Many companies fail to achieve their goals or maximise their opportunities through the inability to make quick and decisive decisions.

The art of decision making comes down to 3 factors:

1. Knowledge;
2. Instinct; and
3. Access to expertise

Whilst not all decisions may work out in your favour, sometimes the inability to make a decision can be more costly.

If a company Founder is unsure or hesitant in making a decision they should surround themselves with the best people possible to maximise a positive result.

Decision making is a necessary part of any Founders’ role and they should invest in time to develop their own knowledge, experience and instinct to achieve the optimal outcome.
