In a recent talk for Business Leaders, I was asked “Which are the best channels to find clients on right now?”
Put quite simply, the stats below explain the best channels for B2B and B2C businesses. However, the challenge lies not in the channel but
in the other strategic questions you ask yourself prior to reaching the channels – related to, your business strategy, what your ideal
client looks like, what outcomes they are seeking from your products and service, how do you attract them and how do you put them into your
sales funnel. Unless you answer all of these questions strategically, you will not achieve the results you desire.
I also went on to talk about the fact that in Australia 84% of businesses report their business comes from referrals and that is why at OH! Marketing 65% of our client’s marketing mix uses traditional style tactics (i.e tradeshows, networking, live events etc) and 35% are digital – however, the customer journey is designed to take people off social media and into traditional channels.
Building a database of potential clients is what every business needs to do in order to build a pipeline to nurture until a customer is ready to become a client.
